How old is your pet? By the time your dog or cat is 8 years old, depending on the breed, it is the equivalent of a human at 40-50 years of age. Our Golden Paw Program for dogs and our Silver Whiskers Program for cats will screen for early signs of many diseases we see as pets get older. The tests include and ECG (heart), urinalysis and urine protein (infection, kidney failure, ), blood chemistries (kidney, liver, diabetes, etc), thyroid testing, radiographs, We do the testing twice yearly at a significant discount.
